What Child Therapy Can Help With
Every child's story is unique. Counselling can help children build skills, understand their feelings, and navigate life's challenges with come confidence and support.
Play-Based & Creative Counselling
Play is a natural language for children. Through play, creativity, stories and games, children can explore their feelings, build coping skills and develop a stronger sense of self — all at their own pace, in a safe and supportive space.
Some of the therapeutic games and activities I use are CBT-informed and designed to support emotional awareness, emotional regulation, coping skills, anger management, problem-solving, social skills and identifying feelings.
Depending on your child’s age and needs, sessions may include feelings-based activities, CBT-informed games, storytelling, imaginative play, art, creative expression, conversation and age-appropriate psychoeducation.
The goal is not simply to “play games.” Each activity is chosen intentionally to help children build skills, express themselves, develop insight and feel more confident managing difficult moments.

Child Counselling for Divorce & Separation
Divorce and separation can be hard on children. Counselling provides a supportive space for them to explore their feelings, ask questions, and develop coping skills. I also support parents with strategies to help children feel safe, supported and connected across two homes, including blended family transitions.
